For those of you around the world where walking into a supermarket to read / buy SOW is not an option, Shirley has forwarded me this scan of the current issue (not available at my local TARGET yet, shame on you, retail behemoth!) where the VL-virus infected Mala interviews Tom - who this time gives some insight into the German soap industry and how it is that two soaps produced by the same company - but BROADCASTED on different channels can have such different standards when it comes to on-screen physical intimacy. He also answers the lingering question of whether his work on AWZ will have influence on that show's gay storyline. Ha, and that's the reason I liked that scene with Deniz... because it was realistic and usually not something seen on soaps. AWZ may sometimes annoy the hell out of me with the spastic writing but sometimes TPTB wanting to go out on a ledge actually creates a positively memorable moment. And to me, that scene with Deniz by the pool is one of them.
Glad we got to read more from Tom Chroust. =)
Thanks for posting this! I'm still undecided about whether I'm happy about his reply to the last question or not... "if there's room for it, sure, but it's not my main objective." Hmmm. I really hope they'll MAKE room, lol.
Does anyone have a link to the scene referred to? I've not really been following AWZ. Ta.
Just watch this clip and you will see. :-) Ah... good times!!!!
I came to AWZ after the Deniz & Roman story was over. They may be allowed more than on VL, but that's not always a plus. The scene when Christian dreams his own version of how Olli kissed him was very effective and romantic, much more than an erection could ever be :p
And even now, I still enjoy watching a bit conservative VL, while I officially stopped recording AWZ this Friday, because I have been just fast forwarding through it anyway.
I agree with you,Ivan.
