The Thrilla of... aeh... Oberbilk(?)... is almost here! Get ready for the fight of the soap year on Friday, August 1. Guess we'll find out then whether Germany can deal with a ficitonal gay boxer being out. While Christian celebrates his triumph, Axel takes out his secret crush on Olli in a very wrong way...
And while I approve of the green shirt, can Christian please spend some of the prize money on some new clothes? :-)
Thanks to lola for posting these and many more over on the message board!

I can't wait an entire month!
I like to think that Cranford is the Verbotene Liebe version of Valhalla or Avalon, a mythical place of endless, shame-free, same-sex Ollian rogering.
What a predictable and unneccessary storyline. Axel is such an unneccessary and hard to stand character, not handsome and in no way a measure to split the two within the next months. And the boxing story is only a way to show some more problems for the two of them but in no way believable giving the current statute of Thore Schölermann.
It´s another example of a show circulating around the beauty of their characters and creating a couple and then afterwards asking "What to do with them", rather than developing a character over months and put the emphasis on acting rather than on beauty with close camera shots. But Dennis Grabosch in a panic room with Jo Weil and let the acting decide. Acting is "everything that counts".
So speaketh the lord Chrisms.
I think I'll stick with Verbotene Liebe , thank you very much!
i kinda like the intention of the writers showing Christian and Olli wearing the same clothes from time to time... it just one of the many many aspects of VL's realism.... College students (and a lot of younger people just starting out) cannot afford a Carrie Bradshaw's wardobe.... i just feel that it is very unrealistic for regular young people in soaps and other shows who have a different shirt everyday! c'mon! with rent and food and gas costs nowadays?!?! not unless your paris hilton! - Markie27
I'm getting sick of that damn green Cranford shirt....
